This kid is mobile

…in more than one way.

Daddy thought it was time for a walker so we got a walker. Yes, it’s looks like a car. It has a gear shift on it that makes a sounds.  Of course there are other lights and sounds,  too.  But in the store William really liked to rev the engine so Daddy selected this walker.

Also, since William is very steady sitting on his own we’ve been working on his transition to table-top, or all 4. He is able to move to all 4 but then goes flat. But  that doesn’t mean he doesn’t go anywhere. He can army crawl and pushes himself around. He’s starting to figure out he needs to leverage his piggies to move forward. Pretty soon we’ll be in big trouble.

The Chicago weather is a tad bit more consistently warm. So we’ve been going for walks as often as possible. William really enjoys the fresh air.

We sat him in the grass and he didn’t quite know what to think of the green stuff. He started to cry. Heeheehee.

But he sat in my lap and we enjoyed watching some kids play soccer.

He doesn’t smile without sticking out that tongue!

Speaking of his smile, he’s got 2 more top teeth coming in. That’s a total of 6 teeth.  But he’s stingy with them. I’ll have to recruit some help to get a picture of them.

Also today he sat up on his own.  He was rolling around on the couch and managed somehow to push off the back of the couch and sit up.  I think I scared him by clapping and cheering for him.  🙂

Typical.

Until next time,
